We haven't worked much on the house recently with the wedding and honeymoon we took a small break. Now that life is settling down we are slowly crossing things off our list along with planning some major changes in the kitchen and master bedroom. Those are details for another post.
One of the things we have never liked in the house was the cheep looking white plastic blinds though out the house. Closed for privacy and they don't let any natural light in and open for light you can see right in. Cassie found a nice white sheer curtain the lets in a great amount of soft natural light and keeps prying eyes at bay.

We also had an old full size wooden 4 post bed frame that needed a little work. The side rails wouldn't fully attach to the head and foot boards and we didn't just want to mount the head board to a metal frame. I took some 3/4 plywood and used it to connect the two sides rails together giving the frame a lot more stability an a place for the mattress to rest. It was a simple project that finally gave us another guest room.
