Wedding projects

Being the hands on couple we are we wanted to make some of the things for our wedding.  We used mason jars filled with flowers hanging from Sheppard hooks for the ceremony.  For the reception we made some wodden boxes so the jars had something to sit in.

The boxes were made from scrap cedar and some pine then stained

with a weathered gray to tie into the theme for the wedding.

For the bridle party we built 6 of the bottle openers with cap catchers out of the left over fence boards we have.

Starting our marriage off with things we built together is a great feeling.  Adding to the "it's not what you buy but rather what you build"

Tying the knot

After 7 awesome years together Cassie and I finally said I do to each other.  We had a great time with our friends and family coming to South Carolina for our wedding.

Now that all the planning and prepping for the wedding is over we can get back to working on the house.
